Ladakh is open for tourists throughout the year, while the best period for the cultural tour is between April and October ending. For adventure tours June to October is the suitable period. Most of the trekking routes are closed after November due to snow at high passes except the Liker to Khaltsey trek. The best period for Chadar-trek (frozen river trek) to Zanskar is from January to mid-March.
The festivals of Stok, Matho and New Year take place in winter and it is possible to visit monasteries in winters. There are few hotels and guest houses with heating facilities in Leh that provide accommodation in winter
The guest will be well come at the Delhi international air port and transfer to hotel or transfer to domestic airport to board flight to Leh as per program schedule.
Upon arrival the guest will be receive and transfer to Hotel. Complete day rest for orientation and acclimatization is a must. Post lunch you will visit Leh palace and Shanti stupa from where you can enjoy the aerial view of Ladakh
After Breakfast drive to Nubra Valley via Khardungla, highest motorable road in the world, 18,380 ft. On arrival check in hotel at Deskit.post lunch visit Deskt mpnastery and also explore the village of Deskit. Overnight at hotel.
After breakfast visit the beautiful Samtanling monastery and proceed with return journey to Leh. Enroute have your picnic lunch enroute enjoy your picnic Lunch at Khardung village.Upon arrival check in at Hotel at leh
Today we will proceed for a monastic tour around Leh.After morning breakfast Drive 45km to visit Hemis monastery. On way back visit Thiksay monastery, enjoy picnic lunch at Chamba restaurant at Thiksay.Also visit She palace the ancient Capital of Ladakh which stores the largest Shakyamuni statue out of Tibet.Over night at hotel.
Early morning departure to Pangong lake 160 km from Leh.We will cross Changla the third highest passes (5475m) This pass is not difficult to tackle.Pangong lake is at a height of (4267m), is breathtaking .Its blue green water reflects the entire mountains cape of Chang-chenmo range. The largest brackish water lake in Asia –the Pangong Lake is practically an inland sea, Being 150km long and 2 to 10 km wide. Enjoy sometime there and Drive back to Leh.
Today we will visit the monastery at the other side of the Indus. We start with Matho the only Sakya monastery in Ladakh.Near by it is the beautiful Stakna monastery. After wards visit Stok palace cum Museum. The last Royal palace of Ladakh king. Drive back to hotel and Hot lunch.in the afternoon proceed to visit nearby Spituk monastery near the airport.
